Rapid prototyping
We manufacture rapid prototypes of our new drench guns in order to prove new designs and demonstrate a functioning product before committing investment to tooling. Prototypes dramatically speed up the design process and reduce the number of tool changes or modifications required.
With the high quality of our rapid prototypes we are able to conduct some field testing before committing to tooling. During laboratory testing we evaluate the design for handling, fluid flow, chemical compatibility, dosage accuracy and low temperature performance.
Our new product design and innovation ethos is centred on accuracy, reliability and ergonomics.
It stems from our many years of practical knowledge in drench gun development, coupled with a robust Stage Gate System for all major new product developments.
Employing an iterative design philosophy from CAD desk through rapid prototyping, supported by rigorous laboratory testing and extensive on-farm evaluation, results in efficient and reliable devices that consistently deliver to the high demands of the animal health market.
